A bit of sewing for me...Using McCall's pattern M5433, I created this shirt/tunic out of a nice cotton print.  It has a vintage flair to it that reminds me of my grandfather's shirts, but it has some heft.  It will definitely take me into the fall due to the weight of the cotton.

This shirt pattern uses the Palmer/Pletsch method to fit the pattern and I did find that it worked quite well.  The pattern instructions were very well done even giving options for construction.  This would be helpful for a beginner.  I'm pleased how it came out and am looking forward to wearing something that fits.
