Embroidered Cards - A Fun Way to Use my Sewing Maching

Several years back, I started making embroidered greeting cards for friends and family.  The cards slowly became more elaborate and more fun to create.  Some card samples are below and additional cards are on my website at www.duckwells.com.  I also have cards available for sale at my shop:

Using special pieces of fabric for the cards adds special meaning.  For my wedding thank you cards, I used swatches of my wedding dress fabric as the background.

McConnell, a traveling book salesman, had noticed that his female customers were more interested in the free perfume samples he offered than in his books.
